Tariffly Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Tariffly, and DerMar Consulting Group LLC, doing business as ForgeWorks (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Tariffly you agree to them. They add to the ForgeWorks Terms & Conditions; where the two differ, these terms apply to Tariffly. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your store’s data.

1. What Tariffly does

Tariffly changes the prices of the products a rule targets when you click Apply, and puts the original prices back when you click Revert. Saving a rule does not change any price. If you turn on the storefront note, Tariffly also adds a short note such as “Price includes 15% import tariff” to each product it re-prices.

2. Your prices are your decision

You choose the rules, their wording, and when to apply them. Check your prices after you apply or revert a rule. You are responsible for the prices in your store and for any pricing, tax, consumer-protection or advertising rules that apply to them, including how you describe price increases to shoppers.

3. What Revert can and can’t do

  • Revert restores a variant’s original price only while it still has the price Tariffly set. Prices you have changed yourself are left alone.
  • Rules don’t stack: a variant already re-priced by one rule is skipped by the others.
  • Tariffly can’t restore prices after you uninstall it, or after your store’s data has been deleted. Revert your rules before you uninstall.

4. Plans and billing

  • The Free plan includes one active rule that applies to all products.
  • Pro adds unlimited rules and targeting by product, collection or country of origin. Pro is billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, at the price shown on Shopify’s plan page when you subscribe.
  • You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Plan & billing in the app. If you move from Pro to Free, rules that need Pro can still be reverted but can’t be applied.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

Use Tariffly only for lawful purposes and only on stores you are authorized to manage. Do not try to access other merchants’ data, disrupt the service, or work around plan limits.

6. Changes and availability

We may change or improve Tariffly over time. We will post changes to these terms on this page and update the date at the top. Tariffly depends on Shopify’s platform, so it may be unavailable when Shopify is.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Tariffly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost revenue, lost profits, pricing errors you did not catch, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Tariffly. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Tariffly in the three months before the claim arose. Sections 6 and 7 of the ForgeWorks Terms & Conditions apply in full.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
